| the old trim. His site did not give you a step to step on repainting or other methods to redo trim pieces. His writeup is for replacing them all together with brand new pieces. As Bernie mentioned, Nissan does not sell the quarter glass trim piece without the window as well. This the correct way to completly replace that peice is to replace the entire window. Others are supposedly coming up with some alternatives, but to this point that is the only way to get brand new quarter glass trim peices. You are able to take them off and repaint them. The only difference is most of the time they snap off but are still stuck the the wpper windopw trim. Obviosuly you got passed this but for others simply take a sharp tool and gently cut the innder portion so that the trim remains.
